Man and His Dog Killed After Apartment Complex Altercation

26-year-old Thomas Pierson III and his dog were stabbed to death early Saturday morning by an acquaintance after an altercation in an apartment complex where they both lived.

According to Courier Post, police arrived to the scene after receiving report of a potential dog attack, however, when they arrived, they found Pierson III and his dog deceased with multiple stab wounds.

It is unclear what led to the altercation.

Donovan Hollingsworth, 25, was taken into custody Saturday after visiting an emergency room for the treatment of his injuries after the altercation, according to People.
