Kamari Oliver, 18, was arrested at his high school and appeared in court on March 29, after police found his red backpack in the vehicle used as the getaway car.

Oliver’s backpack contained his homework, which had his name written in the top right corner, according to People.

Reports by Las Vegas Review Journal state that Oliver, along with two other men participated in the home invasion and slaying of 24-year-old Natalie Manduley.

Police were able to obtain records of Oliver’s attendance, which show absences at the time of the crime.

Oliver is scheduled to appear in court on April 18 and is facing charges of muder, burglary, robbery and kidnapping.
