Juvenile Charged for Murder of NH Mother and Sons
A juvenile was charged yesterday for the murders of 25-year-old Kassandra Sweeney and her sons Benjamin and Mason, respectively 4 and 1 in age. The three victims were found dead inside a home on August 3rd around 11:30AM, each killed with a single gunshot wound, according to NBC News.
Due to the age of the juvenile, no further information has been released about them to the press. Their identity, age, and motives are not known, states NBC News, and the “evidence [which] evidence led to the arrest of the child” is also unconfirmed by police. The juvenile was charged with one count of falsifying physical evidence as well as three counts of first-degree murder.
Sweeney and her children were residents of Northfield, New Hampshire. They are survived by Kassandra’s husband Sean Sweeney, according to CBS News.
Investigators are no longer searching for suspects, stated Attorney General John Formella in an assurance that there is no further threat to the public.
