Family of Four Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Two adults and two children were found dead in their Texas home in an apparent murder-suicide, FOX 4 News reports.

After responding to a welfare check on Thursday, police discovered the bodies of 36-year-old Marcus Buchanan, his wife Rita Buchanan, 34, and the couples’ two daughters aged 3 and 13. All of them had suffered gunshot wounds to the head.

The Granbury Police Department said in a statement that “evidence at the scene was consistent with a murder-suicide, but the final determination has yet to be concluded as this is still an active investigation. At this time, there is no evidence of anyone else being involved in this incident.”

 Investigators did not release information as to who was responsible for pulling the trigger.
