Connecticut man found dead in car ruled a homicide

Last Thursday, Somers investigators revealed a man was found dead in a car just off Durkee Road.

According to WWLP, the Chief Medical Examiners office ruled the death a homicide. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old James Comes.

In an article from NBC Connecticut, it was revealed Comes died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The article also states the bullet caused damage to his heart and lungs.

CT State Police Sgt. Dawn Pagan assured the public this is an isolated incident and there is “no threat to the public.
