California Woman and Accomplice Identified and Charged with Attempted Murder

A woman doused a man in gasoline and then lit him on fire after an argument in a Sanger, California park last Thursday night. Fifteen miles outside of Fresno, the Sanger Police Department has video of the events that played out that night which will be strong evidence in the upcoming cases.

According to Daily Mail, eyewitnesses identified the arsonist as 48-year-old Patricia Castillo. As of right now, the police are unaware of the relationship between the two, but from the video they can clearly see Castillo throw a cup of liquid onto the unnamed victim, leading to the two arguing until she lights him on fire.

Police are also charging 43-year-old Leonard Hawkins as an accessory to the crime, as he is the one who provided her with gasoline according to ABC. When the victim was found, he had severe burns on the upper half of his body, but it is believed that he will make a full recovery from his injuries in time.

The Sanger Police are looking to charge the two with attempted murder, arson, and conspiracy in this case.
