Arizona Man Arrested After Allegedly Killing His Parents, Sister, and Niece
Richard Wilson, 21, was arrested Sunday after he allegedly killed his parents, Richard Wilson, 47, Ellen Otterman, 50, his sister Rudy Wilson, 16, and his niece, 5-year-old ReNaya White.
Officers received a frantic 911 call placed by Rudy Wilson at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday saying her brother had just beaten up her mother. PCSO dispatch noted during the call that Rudy was whispering, then screaming over and over before the call disconnected.
According to court documents obtained by Fox10, when officers arrived on the scene, they saw a man exiting a trailer near the home. When deputies approached the subject, he allegedly yelled “I’m over here, take me to jail.” He was swiftly arrested and taken to the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.
Upon entering the homes, deputies found the bodies of four people. Each victim appeared to have suffered from blunt force trauma and had “injuries to their neck consistent with being cut by the edge of a weapon.” Police were in the neighborhood until about 3:30 a.m. Monday according to ABC 10.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that they were called to the home ten times in the previous two years. Two calls involved mental health pickups orders, and two others were for welfare checks.
Wilson was quickly arrested at the scene and charged with four counts of first-degree murder. His bond has been set at $2.5 million.
