A 7-Year-Old Was Found in a Texas Washing Machine

Last Thursday, the body of a seven-year-old boy who was declared missing earlier that day was found in his family’s washing machine in Houston, Texas. Houston Police are currently investigating the crime and are unable to comment on possible foul play yet.

The missing boy, Troy Khoeler, was missing since 4 AM that day when his parents reported him missing at 5:20 AM. According to the New York Post, it was around two hours later when, after seeing no sign of entry or exit from outside the house that could indicate someone coming in or Troy leaving, they searched the home and found him in the top-loading washer in the garage. Police are currently waiting on the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to complete their autopsy and find an exact cause of death.

According to Today, the only other people known to have been inside the house at the time of his disappearance and death were his parents, who fostered Troy when he was younger before allegedly adopting him in 2019. Houston Police have very little record of calls coming to or from the home.
