Two Brothers Charged with the Murder of the Headless Man Found in a Michigan Field in 1997

According to CBS News, two brothers were arrested this week on murder charges connected to a 1997 Michigan cold case in which a man’s headless and handless body was found in a field. 

On Nov. 19, 1997, officers were called to a field in Blissfield Township, where a farmer found the unidentified and unclothed male. The victim’s identity still remains unknown. 

Richardo Sepulveda, 51, and Michael Sepulveda, 49, were arrested on Jan. 23, 2023, on charges including first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit premeditated first-degree murder, assault with intent to maim, and tampering with evidence, according to CBS News

According to People, it is unclear if the brothers entered a plea to the chargers or hired attorneys. Michigan State Police are leading the investigation and are working towards finding the identity of the victim.
