Three-Month-Old Baby Kidnapped From California Home

Police in San Jose, California are investigating the kidnapping of a 3-month-old baby who they say was taken while his grandmother was unloading groceries on Monday.

The grandmother of the baby, Brandon Cuellar, was babysitting him while his mother was at work. Police claim she took the child inside her apartment, then went back outside to retrieve more groceries.

During the time Brandon was by himself, a man entered the apartment and took him. The mother and grandmother of the child do not recognize the suspect. The child’s father is currently incarcerated.

Cuellar was last seen wearing a white onesie with dinosaurs on it. Investigators have described the suspect as wearing black pants, a dark blue shirt, and grey shoes with white trim. He was also seen wearing a black face mask and a grey baseball hat.

An Amber Alert has not been issued because police do not have information on a suspect’s vehicle or license plate, but an Endangered Missing Advisory has been placed by the California Highway Patrol.

Police are urging those with information on the whereabouts of Brandon or the suspect to please call them at one of five hotlines they have set up.
