Teacher Hospitalized After Being Attacked By Her Student

Trisha Meadows of Pines Lakes Middle School in Florida has been hospitalized after being attacked by a five-year-old student last Wednesday.

According to People, the incident occurred when two students, 4, and 5, began throwing toys and flipping tables around the classroom. The students were separated and Meadows reportedly took the 5-year-old to another room to “cool down.”

According to 7News Miami, the boy jumped on Meadows and attacked her, causing her to hit her head and injure herself. She also lost consciousness.

She was quickly rushed to the hospital.

Meadows suffers from a black eye, broken nose and a cracked skull.

The child will not be charged.
