Over A Month Since Florida Woman, Jacky Reyes, Went Missing From Boynton Beach
30-year-old Jacqueline “Jacky” Reyes of Boynton Beach, Florida was last seen by her aunt, Joy, around 1:30 a.m. on June 1st. According to Joy, Reyes and her lived together and had gotten into an argument about the amount of water and electricity Reyes was using. Since Joy was unemployed, Reyes’ frequent laundry use made it difficult when it came to addressing the increased utility bills.
As a result, Reyes decided to pack her backpack with a few things, including her laptop, before leaving her home. Joy assumed her niece left to blow off some steam and would return in the morning. When Reyes didn’t, Joy tried to file a missing persons report with police.
The police didn’t hear Joy’s concerns when she came to them early on in Reyes’ disappearance, and because of the delay, she wasn’t considered missing until a month later on July 1st. Both Joy and Reyes’ mom, Jackie, are worried sick, hoping for the 30-year-old’s return.
According to law enforcement, Reyes is 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing around 110 pounds. She had left her house on 4100 Shady Lane early June 1st with only her backpack. The young woman was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.
Anyone with information on Jacky Reyes whereabouts and her welfare should contact Detective V. Ebel at 561-688-3740.
