NJ Student Killed By Stray Bullet
Robert Cuadra, 18, was killed by a stray bullet Wednesday night in Paterson, New Jersey while carrying groceries into his grandmother’s home, according to GoFundMe.
According to police and NJ.com, around 6:30 pm, two men began shooting at one another, then suddenly, Cuadra was struck in the head by one of the bullets. He was pronounced dead after being rushed to St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
Police are currently unaware of the events which caused the shooting.
Cuadra was an honor-roll student who was taking classes at Rutger’s University via dual enrollment. He had planned to attend Montclair University in the fall.
