New Podcast Episode: No Napping, No Snacking, No Thank You

Natalia Smut was stabbed to death in a presumed domestic violence situation by her boyfriend on April 23rd. We had a quick chat with Natalia's sister Vanessa Singh, who spoke of her sister's one-of-a-kind drag performances, and vibrant personality. Natalia is at least the 17th trans person to be murdered already this year in the United States. At a rate of one per week so far, 2021 is shaping up to be the deadliest year ever for the trans community. This is completely unacceptable, and we can't sit idly by while it continues. If you are cisgender, please continue to educate yourself so you can be a better ally, and check the links down below for how you can help support the trans community.

We also dug deep into Colorado-based cult Love Has Won, after their leader's partially mummified remains was discovered in the group's co-living space in Crestone. What happened to Amy Carlson, and why her followers kept her adorned remains like a shrine for weeks, we aren't quite sure. What we can tell you is the basic tenets of Love Has Won's spiritual/conspiratorial foundation, and a little bit about Amy's rise to power as the group's "Mother God." Stay tuned to MMN and our social media because this story is ever-evolving.
