Man Killed Sister and Himself

KXAN reports that on Monday the Austin Police Department found two people with deadly trauma to their bodies. They were pronounced dead at 12:53 and 12:55 pm. 

The autopsy of the two people revealed them to be siblings, and their deaths to be the result of a murder-suicide. Jacob Barlow, 62, apparently shot his sister, Ashley Harris, 57, before killing himself. They were found at a home in the 8700 block of Bluegrass Drive around 12:19 pm. Police are still looking for a motive and encourage anyone with information to reach out.
