Kansas Man Finds Skeleton While Searching for Deer Antlers

On Saturday evening, a Kansas man notified authorities after stumbling upon a skeleton on his search for deer antlers. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation claims that the remains were found in Allen County, near Arizona Road and 1800th Street, east of Humboldt, a small town about 110 miles from Kansas City, according to CBS News.

The KBI did not state how long they suspect the body had been buried at the location, nor did they release a description of the condition of the body or how the remains were discovered, People reports.

An autopsy to identify the body has been ordered, though the results could take a while to come in due to the conditions of the remains and the unknown factors of the death. KBI also determined that the age or gender were not immediately identifiable.
