The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the the Campbell County Sheriff’s office are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that left four people dead in LaFollette, Tennessee.

Deputies from Campbell County were called at about 3 p.m. Wednesday to do a welfare check on the family at their home on Log Home Lane. According to 10News, members of the family hadn’t been heard from since the week prior.

At the home, all the family’s vehicles were in the driveway but deputies could not get anyone to respond to them. Sheriff Robbie Goins said, “We noticed a body close to a window and made entry. What we got now, we found four bodies in the home, it appears to be a murder-suicide.”

Sheriff Goins reported that the father died of natural causes, and the welfare check came from the funeral home attempting to get into contact with the family. None of the victims appear to be children.

The identities of the deceased have not been released.
