Court in Hungary orders extradition of Hamilton murder suspect

A Hungarian court has ordered the extradition of Hamilton murder suspect Oliver Karafa.

An extradition hearing had been postponed multiple times, including last month with the Budapest Metropolitan Court citing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but the all-clear has now been given, according to a news release from the court saying conditions “were met.”

Karafa and his girlfriend Yun (Lucy) Lu Li fled to Europe soon after the shooting and were captured in June in Budapest.
