SUV Crashes into Holiday Parade in Wisconsin, Killing At Least Five and Injuring Many

A holiday parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin saw a devastating outcome on Sunday evening after a SUV crashed into the ongoing parade leaving at least five people dead and many more injured, CBS News reports.The suspect has been identified as Darrel Brooks, who is now in police custody. Police report that he may have been fleeing the scene of another crime, which they suspected to be a knife fight. Brooks has been charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide as of Monday afternoon.One witness, Sarah Saldivar, recounted the events of Sunday evening: "I just saw little girls flying through the air. You just saw multiple bodies thrown through the road, and you saw, like, the lawn chairs and the blankets"As of this time, five lives have been claimed by this senseless attack with more than forty others injured. Eighteen of these forty victims were reported to be children.
