Two Dead, Three Injured in Houston Flea Market Shooting
On Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. a shooting occurred at a flea market in Harris County, Texas, 14 miles north of downtown Houston. The market is situated in a crowded area where, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, thousands of people gathered to shop.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an altercation between five men in their 20s from two parties. Two of the men were pronounced dead on the scene, the other three were hospitalized and are currently in critical condition. No innocent bystanders were harmed.
Two pistols used in the shooting were recovered. The motive behind the violent altercation is still unknown.
