The Murder of Tristyn Bailey

13-year-old Tristyn Bailey was raped stabbed 114 times by her 14-year-old classmate Aiden Fucci on Mother’s Day after he allegedly tried to kiss her and she rebuffed him.

On May 8th, 2021, Tristyn sent a text message to a 407 area code number around 10:51pm. Later, her sister reported that she saw her in the garage speaking with an unknown white male. Tristyn reportedly left her house to hang out with the male, later identified as Aiden Fucci.

According to FirstCoastNews, Tristyn then arrived with Aiden at another classmate’s house. Approximately 30 minutes later, surveillance footage captured the two walking towards a pond within their neighborhood. 2 hours later, footage captured only one of the two subjects returning from the pond.

The next morning, Tristyn’s family called 911 to report her missing. Police then pinged her cellphone to the classmate’s house she had visited with Aiden a few hours prior. Tre, the classmate, was interviewed and shortly after, so was Aiden Fucci.

Hours later, Tristyn’s body was found and Fucci was arrested on suspicion of 2nd degree murder after investigators found evidence in his home and he later confessed, per World Today News.

His trial is set to begin in fall of 2022 and he will be tried as an adult.
