New Podcast Episode: The Monster of Florence

New Podcast Episode: The Monster of Florence

A lesser-known case that you'll be shocked you don't know about, the investigation into the Monster of Florence is the largest and most expensive in Italian history, spanning more than four decades. Getting his name from investigative journalist Mario Spezi, Il Mostro di Firenze preyed on couples in cars parked in known lovers' lanes in the 70s and 80s. Anyone and everyone came under suspicion, from priests to satanic cults (and every doctor, butcher, and pizza-maker in between!) Some even theorize that the Zodiac Killer and the Monster of Florence are one in the same. Many were investigated and a few people were even convicted in the case, though it is still widely believed to be unsolved to this day.
