Drive-By Shooting Outside an Iowa High School

A drive-by shooting occurred outside of East High School in Des Moines, Iowa on Monday.

When police arrived on the scene, there were multiple victims injured, all who were teenagers. Two (females aged 16 and 18) are currently in critical condition, while a 15-year-old male was pronounced dead, according to People.

KCCI reported that the male who died was not a student at the high school, whereas the two females were.

The school was put on lockdown for about an hour until police gave the all clear. The school was closed on Tuesday.

Potential suspects have been detained.
