Landscapers star Olivia Colman reveals bizarre real life murder case behind new Sky drama

Olivia Colman portrays a real life murderer in new Sky TV drama Landscapers, penned by her own husband Ed Sinclair.

The Oscar award winner will return to the small screen to star alongside Harry Potter actor David Thewlis as they take on the respective roles of real-life Nottingham couple Susan and Christopher Edwards, who covered up her parents' deaths for 15 years.

Massachusetts cold-case murder solved by DNA found on conch shell

While reviewing dozens of cases in 2019, the cold case unit noticed that the conch, according to autopsy photos, had likely made contact with Moniz’s face and her killer would have had to place his fingers inside the shell to “strike the victim with extreme force.”

Authorities tested that area and got the full DNA profile, which belonged to Reed. DNA from Reed’s family was also found, using samples from under Moniz’s fingernails.

Child’s Remains Found in 2020 ID’d

According to NBC News, The child was identified recently as 9-year-old Haley Mae Coblentz. Haley’s body had been found last year in a duffel bag in Oregon on Dec. 10. Police believe that she had been dead around two months before her body was discovered. She had been living with her mother and her mother’s girlfriend in several different places in Oregon since 2015. Haley had never been reported missing.

Jacksonville police investigate murder of 30-year-old woman who was tortured, beaten

On Nov. 10, according to a police report, an unresponsive 30-year-old woman, who was identified by her relatives as Chelsea Nicole Thompson, was brought to Fire Station No. 35 on North Main Street and then taken to a hospital, where she died. According to an arrest warrant, doctors found she had facial swelling, was bleeding from an ear, had brain swelling, had a fractured vertebra, and had bruising on her wrists and ankles consistent with being tied up.
