Capitol Police Chief Apologizes for “Terrorist Attack” on Congress

The new Capitol Police Chief formally apologizes to Congress for the recent attack on American democracy.
Chief Yogananda Pittman recognizes the failures of her department on the Jan. 6 attack from Trump supporters. She admitted that two days before the attack, the department suspected a riot to happen. Pittman also admits that they “should have been more prepared,” according to NPR.
