Nine individuals were injured on Monday when a man drove directly into a homeless encampment in San Diego.
A 54-year-old woman was struck and killed by an intoxicated employee [man in the picture] at a car wash in Queens, New York, around 2 p.m. The employee had a blood alcohol reading well above the legal limit. The victim was standing nearby when the worker exiting the car wash bay in a 2011 Jeep Liberty hit her.
Over the holiday weekend a joyride turned deadly, claimed the lives of two homeless San Diego men this past Friday. A 13-year-old girl who has not yet been identified, took her parents car for a drive without their knowledge.
Escondido Police spotted the young teenager around 11:20 PM late Friday February 12th. During the routine stop the girl hit the accelerator and drove off.
Endial Thomas was formally charged on Monday for the death of a rollerblader that he fatally struck while driving drunk nine months ago. Thomas, 26, was driving near Pompano Beach in Florida around 5 p.m. on February 19 when he lost control of his vehicle and hit Aline Palla Acosta, 27, while she was rollerblading along a recreation path.
