According to WUSA9, Bethany lived with her boyfriend, 40-year-old Ronald Roldan, in her Ashburn apartment; at the same time, her husband, Emile Decker, was deployed in Afghanistan. After her disappearance, investigators learned that Bethany had been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend. Consequently, Ronald, the father of Bethany’s unborn child, would be the last person to see her alive.
