Warren, 52, was killed by a Killeen police officer on January 10 after his family called the police for mental health help. Attorney Lee Merritt held a press conference this afternoon at which he released new details on the incident.
Detectives Myles Cosgrove, who fatally shot Breonna Taylor, and Joshua Jaynes, who applied for the warrant to enter Taylor’s home, have been fired.
Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley announced that no charges will be filed against Rusten Sheskey, who shot Jacob Blake seven times, leaving him paralyzed. The prosecutor claims that it would be too difficult to prove that Sheskey wasn’t acting out of self-defense. Blake’s family expressed their disappointment and encouraged the public to continue peacefully demanding change.
