Brittany Gosney, 29, and her boyfriend, James Hamilton, 42, told investigators that the boy was killed a few days before he was reported missing and that they dumped his body in the Ohio River. Police are working with trained searchers to find the boy’s remains. Gosney is charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Hamilton, is charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Meztli Galindo, 29, was killed by her ex-husband, Jose Alvarado-Ramirez, 31, on the morning of February 14, 2021 in Illinois. According to police, Alvarado-Ramirez made a 911 call reporting that he had found his ex-wife unresponsive inside a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found Galindo dead inside a sedan on the same block as Alvarado-Ramirez’s home.
Rosa Jimenez was released on bond on January 27 after spending seventeen years behind bars for a crime she most likely did not commit.
Ryan Munsie, 31, was delivering food to a Texas apartment when she was killed on Saturday evening in what appears to be a robbery gone wrong.
The two suspects, who are both 14-years-old, allegedly stabbed Munsie in the neck while trying to rob her.
It appears that the only thing stolen from Muncie was a cellphone that was later found in a nearby dumpster, not far from where the suspects live.
The teens’ names have not been released as they are minors. Their names will be released if the state chooses to prosecute them as adults, but that remains unclear for the time being.
Munsie lived in Haltom City with her husband and three children, ages 5, 10, and 11. She was working for Uber Eats on the side as a way to make extra money.
Sgt. Eric Peters of the Haltom police said, “It ended up being just a random thing where these two juveniles were out looking for somebody to rob and just ran into her.”
The suspects are both being held at the Tarrant County Juvenile Justice Center in Fort Worth and are facing capital murder charges.
