Authorities in Kabul will ban motorcycles and scooters in the Afghan capital in a bid to control rampant crime and stop assailants on two-wheelers from conducting targeted killings, officials said Tuesday.
The man charged in the killings of four people Friday – including two women – is a convicted drug trafficker whose adult criminal history dates back to the mid-1990s, according to court records.
Alto Miles, 42, was arrested Sunday in connection with the killings of William Bowen III, Michael Eves, Bridgett Carter and Tasia Mason. The killings happened in Avondale and North Avondale.
Jury selection began Monday in the trial of an Alabama man charged with killing three people at a barbershop during a robbery attempt.
