Luis Rodriguez-Mena was extradited from Mexico and arrested by Des Plaines, Illinois police on Thursday for the 1999 murder of flight attendant Young Kavila. Kavila, 30, was killed on November 30, 1999 after arriving in Chicago on a flight. She headed to her apartment in Des Plaines around 10 p.m., where Rodriguez-Mena had allegedly been waiting for her, and was attacked in her kitchen.
