Hawaii Island police nabbed a man in Puna wanted in connection to a murder earlier in the week, and filed charges Saturday night.
A woman was expected to be sent from Hawaii to Idaho on Wednesday to face charges in the disappearance of her young son and teenage daughter.
The mother of two missing children has been arrested by police officers in Hawaii on a warrant issued by Madison County, Idaho, according to a statement from law enforcement.
Police in Idaho have found a cellphone belonging to 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, who, along with her 7-year-old adopted brother, JJ Vallow, hasn’t been seen since September, a source close to the investigation told CBS News. It appears her phone was found in Hawaii with her mother, Lori Vallow, who has been considered a person of interest in the case.
