Brian Healless lured Grindr date Alex Davies to beauty spot and stabbed him to death
Two teenagers are expected to be charged with murder after the body of a father-of-three was found in bushland on the New South Wales south coast almost a fortnight ago, with an alleged gay hate crime being one line of inquiry.
Police believe Peter Keeley, 56, may have been using the gay dating app Grindr to meet with another person before his body was found by a dog walker in Broulee at about 4.50pm on February 2.
Mark Latunski, 50, was charged with open murder and mutilation of a body after 25-year-old Kevin Bacon was found dead in the basement of his Bennington Township home near Morrice on Dec. 28, 2019.
Latunski has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and disinterment and mutilation of a body. His attorney, who has not responded to inquiries from The Washington Post, is seeking an insanity defense and has described a litany of past mental health issues, according to court records.
