Former general commander, Gen Scott Efflandt, has been removed from his position at Fort Hood as of Tuesday after investigations into numerous deceased/missing soldiers. Efflandt’s replacement will be decided in the next coming days.
The decision was reached after a minimum of 10 soldiers this year were reported missing or dead under suspicious circumstances. Victims such as Elder Fernandez and Vanessa Guillen told family members that they had been sexually assaulted before their deaths.
