Lawrence Paul Anderson, who was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and a single count of felony maiming and assault with a deadly weapon this week, asked to be held in the Grady County Jail without bail. According to police, Anderson had fatally stabbed his family’s neighbor Andrea Lynn Blankenship, “cut her heart out” and attempted to serve the organ to his aunt and uncle with potatoes. Anderson, 42, then attacked his uncle Leon Pye, his aunt Delsie and his four-year-old cousin.
