Portland police are searching for 24-year-old David Dahlen after he escaped from the Portland Police Bureau’s Central Precinct on Saturday night. Dahlen is wanted on charges of first-degree assault, first-degree attempted murder, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, assaulting a public safety officer, and second-degree escape.
Matthew Piercey was arrested Monday after evading FBI agents by driving his underwater scooter through Lake Shasta for 30 minutes. While running from the FBI, Piercey used his Yamaha 350Li submersible device which can propel users up to 4 miles per hour underwater. However, Piercey eventually resurfaced and was arrested.
