In 1964, a conspiracy theory circulated the United States, and ever since has been a source of fascination. It is known as “The Lincoln and Kennedy Coincidences.” The list first appeared in a Republican Party congressional committee newsletter and was soon printed in newspapers throughout the U.S. In fact, Time magazine called it a “compendium of curious coincidences.” The list specifically outlines similarities between the lives and deaths of two of the most famous U.S. presidents.
