A 55-year old Hispanic man is wrongly accused of kidnapping his grandson in Torrance, California. Abel Mata, a seventh-grade history teacher, was babysitting his two-year-old grandson on Friday morning when police showed up at the 700 block of Border Avenue.

Insider reports that a white woman started shouting at Mata for walking with his light-skinned grandson. She accused Mata of kidnapping the two-year-old toddler and called police. After questioning Mata, they quickly realized that someone had falsely accused him of a crime.

A 77-year-old man from Fort Worth Texas, has been arrested for the 1974 murder of a teenage girl on Monday morning. According to CBS Austin, police arrested Glen McCurley and charged him with capital murder for the slaying of 17-year-old Carla Walker

On February 17, 1974, Carla and her boyfriend parked outside a bowling alley during a Valentine’s Day party. The Washington Post reports that McCurley pistol-whipped the boy and then kidnapped Carla from the parking lot. Three days later, she is found stuffed inside an underground tunnel near Lake Benbrook.

An amber alert has been issued for one-month-old Armaidre Antwan Marquie Argumon, last seen on Friday, September 18. According to KSAT, the infant was last seen at 8:30 am in the 500 block of Old Forest Road in Wells, Texas. Armaidre is described as 22 inches tall and weighs 9 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing a diaper.

A 38-year-old man is beaten and shot to death on Sunday, September 13, in Dallas, Texas. At around 5:00 am, the Dallas police received a call reporting a shooting. Officials arrived at 4330 Dickason Avenue, reports NBC5. They found David Eugene Young lying unresponsive outside a residence. According to CBS11, a witness who reported the shooting filmed the murder of Young on video. She witnessed a man chasing Young and claimed that he was beating the victim to death.

Three family members are arrested for the murder of a Newton, Mississippi woman. According to WLBT, first responders received a call around 10:30 am on Sunday, September 6. They arrived at 989 Pecan Road and found Marian Roncali dead at the residence. After first responders suspected Roncali’s death as foul play, police arrested 46-year-old Carlos Roncali. According to WTOK, investigators later issued arrest warrants for Carlos Roncali’s mother and father, Sherry and James Roncali.

Olga Maria Calderon was a 32-year-old mother working at a Walgreens in Chicago. On Sunday, September 6, 18-year-old Sincere Williams repeatedly stabbed her to death. According to the Chicago SunTimes, Williams arrived at the Wicker Park Walgreens in the 1300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. He entered the store around 9:35 am on Sunday with the intent of robbing it.

Father is a suspect in the murder suicide of his family. Police make a grim discovery on Sunday, August 30 in an apparent family murder-suicide. The parents were Regina, 58, and John Tobin, 57, who lived in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Their kids were Natalie and Graham Tobin, who were both 15-years-old at the time of their death. According to  Beaconjournal.com, the Tobins were well-known philanthropists in the community.

A gymnastics coach and gym owner was arraigned Friday on three counts of rape for allegedly sexually assaulting a student when she was 17 and 18-years-old. David Auger, 41, of Hudson, is the owner of 10.0 Academy of Gymnastics, in Stow. According to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Auger sexually assaulted the victim between Jan. 27, 2018 and July 30, 2019.

Three days after nine bodies of guest workers from West Bengal, Bihar and Tripura were found in an abandoned well at Gorrekunta of Geesugonda mandal in Warangal Rural district, the Warangal Commissionerate of Police got to the end of the mystery and arrested 24-year-old guest worker from Bihar, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, who allegedly committed the crime.

Sharing details of the incident with the media on Monday, Commissioner of Police V. Ravinder said these nine people were killed to cover up one murder which Sanjay Kumar committed three months ago.
