More than four months after her disappearance, the search for missing Colorado biker Suzanne Morphew continues. Suzanne’s brother, Andy Moorman, organized a massive volunteer search that began on September 23. Hundreds of volunteers poured into Suzanne’s small town of Salida, where she had gone missing on May 10, and have now trekked over mountains and through forests in search of clues for three days. The search is expected to last until September 29.

On the day that Suzanne went missing, her daughters were on a camping trip in another state while Barry was in Denver for a construction job.

On Mother’s Day, May 10th, 2020, Suzanne Morphew disappeared from Salida, Colorado after reportedly leaving for a morning bike ride. According to NBC News, a neighbor reported Suzanne missing after her teenaged daughters could not reach her whilst they were away on a camping trip. Suzanne’s husband, Barry Morphew, stated that the last time he saw his wife was early that morning when he left their house around 5 a.m. to tend to a landscaping job in Denver.

Colorado authorities have offered a $14,000 reward for information about a house fire that killed a Senegalese family of 5, including two young children. The fire started around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and killed Djibril and Adja Diol, and their 3-year-old daughter Kadidia. Also killed in the blaze was Djibril’s sister Hassan Diol and her daughter, Hawa Beye.

Police in Colorado are searching for a missing mother who was last seen going for a bike ride on Mother’s Day.

On Sunday, Suzanne Morphew, 49, from Maysville, was reported missing after she went for a bike ride and didn’t come home, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
