Colorado authorities have arrested a couple for allegedly killing their 11-year-old son by forcing him to drink four 24-ounce bottles of water in four hours.

Ryan, 41, and 42-year-old Tara Sabin are facing first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death and six counts of misdemeanor child abuse charges in the March 11 death of 11-year-old Zachary Sabin.

Police in Colorado are searching for a missing mother who was last seen going for a bike ride on Mother’s Day.

On Sunday, Suzanne Morphew, 49, from Maysville, was reported missing after she went for a bike ride and didn’t come home, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Megan Hess, 43, and her mother, Shirley Koch, 66, were indicted this month on nine counts of mail fraud and transportation of hazardous materials, according to court documents.

Federal authorities arrested the operators of a Colorado funeral home accused of selling body parts or entire bodies without the consent of families.

Megan Hess, 43, and her mother, 66-year-old Shirley Koch, were arrested Tuesday and charged with six counts of mail fraud and three counts of illegal transportation of hazardous materials, The Daily Sentinel reports.
