A Texas couple was charged Monday for the capital murder of an 8-year-old girl under their care. The two after denying food and water to the girl forced her to jump on a 110 degree trampoline. Aug. 19 police arrived on a medical call and pronounced the girl dead on the scene.

An amber alert has been issued for one-month-old Armaidre Antwan Marquie Argumon, last seen on Friday, September 18. According to KSAT, the infant was last seen at 8:30 am in the 500 block of Old Forest Road in Wells, Texas. Armaidre is described as 22 inches tall and weighs 9 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing a diaper.

Monday, August 24, Fort Worth police responded to the report of a missing 4-year-old child. Krystal Lewandowski, the mother of the 4-year-old, admitted in her report that she had harmed her daughter. Shortly after the first responder arrived at the home it was determined there was a homicide.

Colorado authorities have arrested a couple for allegedly killing their 11-year-old son by forcing him to drink four 24-ounce bottles of water in four hours.

Ryan, 41, and 42-year-old Tara Sabin are facing first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death and six counts of misdemeanor child abuse charges in the March 11 death of 11-year-old Zachary Sabin.

Sussex Police reports that 42-year-old Robert Needham, of Sussex, England, along with wife Kelly Fitzgibbons, 40, their children, Ava, 4, and Lexi, 3, and their family dog were all found dead inside a home in Woodmancote, West Sussex. The bodies were discovered at around 6:45 p.m., according to authorities. Needham is thought to have killed his family before taking his own life, amid worries about money during the coronavirus pandemic.

A Benton County jury found Torres, 50, of Bella Vista, guilty of capital murder and battery during his retrial in the 2015 death of Isaiah Torres. He faced death or life in prison without parole.

Mauricio Torres’ 2016 conviction and death sentence were overturned by the Arkansas Supreme Court, which ruled 4-3 last April that Arkansas authorities couldn’t use rape as a justification for the murder conviction because the assault occurred in Missouri. Torres’ son died at an Arkansas hospital a day after the assault.

The three were arrested earlier this month in Flagstaff after Ann Marie Martinez called 911 and said she thought her grandson was dead. An officer noted he could have been dead for hours. Eventually, they told police they kept the boy and his 7-year-old brother in a closet for 16 hours a day over the past month and gave them little to eat, police reports showed. Police said the boys’ confinement in a closet was punishment for stealing food while the parents slept.

At a press conference Friday night, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said they believed they found the remains of Evelyn Mae Boswell earlier that evening. The remains are being sent for autopsy and positive identification, Sheriff Jeff Cassidy said. Authorities acting on a tip found the remains on a property in Blountville that is owned by a relative of Evelyn’s mother, the sheriff said.

The body of 6-year-old Faye Swetlik, missing since Monday after vanishing outside her home in South Carolina, was found Thursday, authorities said.

“It is with extremely heavy hearts that we are announcing that we found a body that the coroner has identified as Faye Marie Swetlik,” said Chief Byron Snellgrove of the Cayce Department of Public Safety at a news conference.

An Arizona couple have been accused of keeping the body of their 11-year-old daughter, who was adopted, in their attic for more than two years.

On Jan. 28, Phoenix firefighters responded to the home of Rafael and Maribel Loera for a house fire. While inside the home, first responders discovered human bones, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The body was hidden within the drywall of the home and found after the fire was extinguished, the Arizona Republic reports.

A veteran New York City police officer and his fiancée were arrested and charged with the murder of the man’s 8-year-old son, who froze to death in an unheated garage, authorities said Friday.

Police in Phoenix said Tuesday a 22-year-old woman has been arrested after confessing to killing her three children — an infant and two toddlers.

“Right now, we can tell you she admitted to doing this to the children, and that’s where we’re going and that’s where the investigation is at this point,” Phoenix police Sgt. Mercedes Fortune told Fox 10 Phoenix.

The children were a 7-month-old girl, a 2-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, police said.
