Jasmin Cigarroa’s husband, Jonathan Nuno Mijangos, was arrested on first-degree murder charges after his wife’s remains were discovered on Friday morning. Jasmin, 24, was reported missing to the Denver Police Department on March 10. After an arraignment on Wednesday, notorious New York City “Subway Attacker” Khari Covington is now facing a 52-count indictment against him for burglary, assault and strangulation as hate crimes. Covington allegedly targeted “light-skinned women” during a string of attacks that occurred between August 2020 and January 4 in Brooklyn’s East Williamsburg neighborhood. Most of the attacks happened in the Morgan Avenue subway station, but one took place near the station and another at a smoke shop.
Lawrence Paul Anderson, who was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and a single count of felony maiming and assault with a deadly weapon this week, asked to be held in the Grady County Jail without bail. According to police, Anderson had fatally stabbed his family’s neighbor Andrea Lynn Blankenship, “cut her heart out” and attempted to serve the organ to his aunt and uncle with potatoes. Bryan Snow was charged with second-degree domestic abuse and endangering the welfare of a child after police rescued his disabled girlfriend and twin girls from severe neglect. Charles Polevich was arrested on Wednesday and charged with leaving the scene of a fatal car accident that killed Nicki Minaj’s father, Robert Maraj, last Friday. Maraj had been walking on the street when Polevich struck the 64-year-old pedestrian with his vehicle at 6:15 pm. According to police, Polevich stopped and exited his car to check on the injured man. Yet, rather than helping Maraj and calling 911, Polevich fled the scene.

Tracy Ray Rollins, a 28-year-old long-haul truck driver from Dallas, Texas, was arrested and charged Wednesday with the murder of Rebecca Landrith. Landrith’s body was found by a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) worker around 7 am Sunday near an 1-80 eastbound exit ramp by the Mile Run interchange.
Lindsay Overbay was killed in a shooting at a Minnesota medical clinic that left four others injured on Tuesday. Overbay, 37, was a medical assistant at Allina Health Urgent Care – Buffalo Crossroads clinic and a mother of two children. A second teen has been arrested and charged with her classmate’s murder on Monday in Newark, Delaware. Annika Stalczynski, 17, was arrested in her home after a New Castle County Grand Jury indicted her with first-degree murder. The horror unfolded after 17-year-old Madison Sparrow, a junior in Newark Charter High School didn’t come home from shopping with a friend on October 2. After her mother reported her missing around 8:30 pm, officials found her body the next day.

The boyfriend of 21-year-old Bethany Anne Decker is charged with her 2011 disappearance on Monday. Bethany, a student of George Mason University, had been pregnant five months before she suddenly went missing on January 29, 2011, in Loudon County, Virginia. According to WUSA9, Bethany lived with her boyfriend, 40-year-old Ronald Roldan, in her Ashburn apartment; at the same time, her husband, Emile Decker, was deployed in Afghanistan. After her disappearance, investigators learned that Bethany had been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend. Consequently, Ronald, the father of Bethany’s unborn child, would be the last person to see her alive.
