The former assistant of 33-year-old CEO Fahim Saleh pleads not guilty to first-degree murder charges on Tuesday in Manhattan, New York. Tyrese Haspil, 21, had previously worked for Tech CEO Fahim Saleh as an executive assistant who handled his financial and personal affairs.
According to The New York Post, Haspil had stolen $90,000 from Saleh by transferring the money through his PayPal and Intuit accounts. When Saleh found out, he fired Haspil and dealt with him instead of calling the police. He arranged a brokered repayment plan so that Haspil would continue paying off his debt to him.
