Michigan State Police have found the missing vehicle belonging to Karl Marker, who disappeared in September, and an unidentified body on Sunday. Family members believe that the body is that of Marker, but Marker’s van was found disabled in the mud in Wexford County’s Slagle Township just south of Harrietta, Michigan.

A 77-year-old man from Fort Worth Texas, has been arrested for the 1974 murder of a teenage girl on Monday morning. According to CBS Austin, police arrested Glen McCurley and charged him with capital murder for the slaying of 17-year-old Carla Walker

On February 17, 1974, Carla and her boyfriend parked outside a bowling alley during a Valentine’s Day party. The Washington Post reports that McCurley pistol-whipped the boy and then kidnapped Carla from the parking lot. Three days later, she is found stuffed inside an underground tunnel near Lake Benbrook.

A 38-year-old man is beaten and shot to death on Sunday, September 13, in Dallas, Texas. At around 5:00 am, the Dallas police received a call reporting a shooting. Officials arrived at 4330 Dickason Avenue, reports NBC5. They found David Eugene Young lying unresponsive outside a residence. According to CBS11, a witness who reported the shooting filmed the murder of Young on video. She witnessed a man chasing Young and claimed that he was beating the victim to death.

Three family members are arrested for the murder of a Newton, Mississippi woman. According to WLBT, first responders received a call around 10:30 am on Sunday, September 6. They arrived at 989 Pecan Road and found Marian Roncali dead at the residence. After first responders suspected Roncali’s death as foul play, police arrested 46-year-old Carlos Roncali. According to WTOK, investigators later issued arrest warrants for Carlos Roncali’s mother and father, Sherry and James Roncali.

The body of three-year-old Braylen Noble was found in a pool at Hunter’s Ridge Apartments in Toledo on Wednesday. Toledo Police, Toledo Fire and Rescue, and hundreds of volunteers have tirelessly searched for Braylen ever since he went missing on Friday, September 4. However, after his body was found in the pool of his mother’s apartment complex, Lieutenant Kellie Lenhardt confirmed that the case has, “turned from a missing person investigation to a death investigation.”

Father is a suspect in the murder suicide of his family. Police make a grim discovery on Sunday, August 30 in an apparent family murder-suicide. The parents were Regina, 58, and John Tobin, 57, who lived in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Their kids were Natalie and Graham Tobin, who were both 15-years-old at the time of their death. The body of five-year-old Alexa Castro was found in a creek near the Neuse River in North Carolina on Wednesday afternoon. Heavy downpours and flash flooding caused part of Galilee Road to collapse on Tuesday night. Around 1 a.m., a Smithfield woman called 911 to report that she and her children had been swept off the road while driving. Sussex Police reports that 42-year-old Robert Needham, of Sussex, England, along with wife Kelly Fitzgibbons, 40, their children, Ava, 4, and Lexi, 3, and their family dog were all found dead inside a home in Woodmancote, West Sussex. The bodies were discovered at around 6:45 p.m., according to authorities. Needham is thought to have killed his family before taking his own life, amid worries about money during the coronavirus pandemic.

Remains have been located in Florida that police have tentatively identified as belonging to Gannon Stauch, a missing 11-year-old Colorado boy, the El Paso County Sheriff of Colorado announced.

His stepmother, Letecia “Tecia” Stauch, was arrested in early March on murder, child abuse and tampering charges in connection with his death.

A 66-year-old man fatally shot six relatives in a small North Carolina community over the weekend, then killed himself, authorities said Monday.

The sheriff’s office described the area as a “quiet, close-knit community where violence is out of the norm.” Moncure is a community about 30 miles (50 kilometres) southwest of Raleigh.

The call from dispatch crackled across Indiana State Trooper Jim Cramer’s police radio. It was early on the morning of November 18, 1978. Four employees had gone missing from a Burger Chef in Speedway, a town of 12,500 on the outskirts of Indianapolis.

When Cramer showed up for work his commander filled him in on the latest. The missing had been abducted between 11 p.m. and midnight. Whoever took them had pulled off the main road onto a lonely gravel path in the woods, the kind that local teens might’ve used as a make-out spot.

Salt Lake City firefighters responded to a report of a “dead body” in the Jordan River Surplus Canal on Friday that turned out to be a mannequin.

Coincidentally, the dummy belonged to the fire department and got lost about a year ago during a water rescue training session.

Officials made the most of the situation by using the mannequin to practice high-water rescue skills, something especially relevant considering the water is running higher than usual this year.

The burning body firefighters discovered Wednesday in a secluded field near train tracks in the city’s Collinwood neighborhood was missing its head, hands and feet, according to three law-enforcement sources.

Cleveland police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia would not say what body parts were missing. The dismembered body was burned to such a degree that investigators cannot identify its gender, Ciaccia said.

A 22-year-old Ohio woman whose body was found Tuesday in a wooded area was denied a civil protection order the previous week against her estranged husband, who is accused of killing her.

Alec Blair, 21, was arrested Tuesday and charged in the murder of his wife, Gaberien “Gabe” Clevenger. He remains in the Richland County Jail.
