A former government minister’s son who killed his girlfriend’s young toddler with a car seat has been jailed for seven years and seven months by a judge who described him as cunning and manipulative.
Stephen Waterson reversed the seat of his Audi convertible, squashing his girlfriend’s three-year-old son in the footwell behind him.
“Manipulative” Stephen Waterson will serve more than seven years after he crushed the three-year-old with a car seat.
Waterson, 26, inflicted irreversible brain injuries on Alfie Lamb, his girlfriend’s son, who was in the footwell behind him in 2018.
Stephen Waterson is starting a seven and a half year sentence for manslaughter tonight after he killed Alfie by pushing his car seat back on the youngster in south London.
