An investigation is underway for the disappearance of 21-year-old Juan Carlos Hernandez in South Los Angeles, California. ABC7 explains that Juan had been working as a clerk at the VIP Collective, a cannabis dispensary on Western Avenue and 81st. On Tuesday night, Juan closed the shop around 10 pm. and said goodbye to the security guards that worked alongside him. They would be the last people to see Juan on Tuesday, September 22.
Former general commander, Gen Scott Efflandt, has been removed from his position at Fort Hood as of Tuesday after investigations into numerous deceased/missing soldiers. Efflandt’s replacement will be decided in the next coming days.

Natsumi Mizusawa, 28, from Nagano, Japan, reportedly shot an elderly acquaintance with a crossbow Monday. The man, in his 70s, was heading to Mizusawa’s apartment when he was shot in his right arm. After being shot, the man fled in his car and received medical treatment.
Tuesday Mizusawa was taken into custody for attempted murder. Police are now investigating their relationship and the incident. The man is allegedly an acquaintance of Mizusawa’s and had given advanced notice of visiting the day he was shot.
