14-Year-Old Uses Slingshot to Save Sister from Alleged Kidnapper

A 14-year-old used a slingshot to save his sister from an alleged kidnapper in Michigan last week. Per ABC News, the Michigan State Police Department said in a press release that the "unknown male appeared from the woods" and entered the siblings' property in a rural area of Alpena County on Wednesday, when the 8-year-old girl was mushroom hunting. The suspect grabbed the young girl, put a hand over her mouth and the other arm around her waist, and attempted to pull her into the woods. 

Man Convicted of Murdering 3 Teens After Becoming Enraged by Doorbell Prank

The Associated Press reports Anurag Chandra, 45, was convicted of three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in the 2020 deaths of Drake Ruiz, Daniel Hawkins, and Jacob Ivascu, all 16, in Temescal Valley. The California man killed the three teens by ramming their car off the road after they played a doorbell prank on him. Three other teens were infrared in the crash.
