Milwaukee girl Liana Razo, 15, died after a screwdriver stuck her head. Police apprehended the suspect, Vidal Rodriguez-Alvarez, in Mexico after being on the run for nearly twelve years.
On the day of the incident, Razo sat in a vehicle outside South Division High School with two gang members. According to CBS 58 News, “One of them shouted an insult at Rodriguez-Alvarez, who was a rival gang member.”
This led Rodriguez-Alvarez to throw a screwdriver into the car, which punctured Razo’s head. She was taken to Children’s Wisconsin Hospital but died shortly after.
At the moment, Rodriguez-Alvarez is facing first-degree reckless homicide and has a court date scheduled for June 22, according to CBS 58 News.
