On Saturday, police arrested Luther “Luke” Henderson, under the assumption of murdering his wife, Tykeisha Dixon, before fleeing to Seattle.
The newlywed couple was last seen on May 6th after dropping off Dixon’s three sons with a babysitter. Once the couple had not returned, family members reported them missing. Two days later, Dixon’s body was found near St. Louis, MO.
On the night of May 6th, the couple drove to an Atlanta Taco Bell to pick up Henderson’s daughter. Henderson’s daughter described the couple arguing which resulting in Dixon’s phone being throw out of the car.
Four days later, on May 10th, Henderson’s car is found vacant. Police tracked Henderson down nearly 2,000 miles from the murder scene.
At the moment, Henderson awaits murder charges. The matter of bail and attorney representation is undetermined. A GoFundMe account has been created by Vertis Dixon in memory of Tykeisha Dixon.
