The missing Houston mother of three, Erica Hernandez, 40, has been missing for over two weeks now. The FBI and Texas EquuSearch have joined Houston police along with family and friends in the search for Hernandez.
Her family says she’s a hard-working single mother. ABC 13 says she donates plasma twice a week to bring in extra money. Her son, Dennis, recently turned 16 without his mother there. Her sister-in-law, Eldia Hernandez, told ABC 13, “We’re all frustrated. We’re all in disbelief because this is not like her. This is not her routine. Her kids are her world, and she would never ever leave her kids.”
She was last seen leaving her brother’s house in SW Houston. She was driving her black 2020 GMC Acadia. The car, also missing, has a Texas plate number MKJ 3303. She was seen wearing a teal T-shirt with jeans and black and teal sneakers.
Family last heard from Hernandez minutes before she said she was arriving home. Hernandez’s family has spent the past two weeks passing out flyers and hanging banners around the city. This week, electronic billboards broadcast Hernandez’s picture and information. They ask anyone with possible information to call Houston missing persons at 832-394-1840 or Texas EquuSearch at 281-309-9500.
