At 7:51 on March 19, police attended a home on Larchwood Court in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Officials say Daisy Vasquez, the mother, asked her to son to collect her 9mm handgun from her car. However, the suspect then entered the house and discharged the handgun at his sister, Jasiyah Vasquez.
Shortly after the police arrived, the victim died. Home surveillance videos depict the event. Forensic Pathologist Dr Ian Hood stated the girl died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
According to 6ABC Action News, the boy faces charges of third-degree murder after killing his sister in their Montgomery County home. Police did not charge Daisy Vasquez with any crimes, despite the handgun being registered in her name.
